Luana Adriani
Luana Adriani was born and educated in Rome, Italy, where she
studied graphic design and advertising, computer graphic design, and
then moved towards a more decorative sphere including stained glass,
mosaic, fresco, gilding and restoration. She then set up her own
workshop creating decorative objects for interiors. In 2002 she
moved to London where she joined the Aaronson Noon Glass Studio as a
cold glass finisher; grinding, sandblasting, polishing and
engraving. While in England she continued learning about glass,
especially engraving, which she studied under Katharine Coleman at
Morley College, London. Luana has exhibited at ZeST in 2004, as well
as at the Islington Art Fair, and as part of the Wandsworth Artist's
Open House Weekend. She has also shown her work in Rome, and hopes
to do so again in the future, having moved back to her home town in
August 2006. |
